VOCAL GIRLS PODCAST: JOESEF
The VOCAL GIRLS podcast is a series where music journalist and VOCAL GIRLS Founder, Megan Graye, chats to artists about their past, present and future, and the music that intertwines these experiences. This week, Megan’s speaking to Glaswegian musician, Joesef.
Joesef’s career is currently flying; he’s already released two EP’s, made music with Loyle Carner, toured with Arlo Parks and sold out shows across the UK - including his first at the iconic King Tuts in Glasgow, before he’d even released any songs. Joesef is down to earth, hilarious and loveable, but it’s not just his personality that’s made him so successful, his velvety voice and self-produced tracks are the perfect blend of happy-sad and have had numerous plays across Radio 1. He’s about to have his biggest tour yet in May at venues like the Shepherds Bush Empire, and is currently out in Texas at SXSW!
In this episode we talk about pre-show nerves, staying grounded and his anonymous admission box which he’s started for his fans.
