NewDad are one of the most exciting bands of the moment; they have a distinct layered sound music which feels solemn yet upbeat, and they combine this with relatable and poignant lyrics. In this episode, Megan speaks with Julie Dawson, the band’s vocalist and rhythm guitarist. As NewDad are currently based in Ireland, this episode was recorded over Zoom shortly after the release of their new EP ‘Banshee’.
